Have you always wanted to learn how to play the piano?
Are you very busy and worried that you won’t make enough progress because you don’t have very much time to practice?
Do you feel like you’re just not a musical person?
Are you worried that people will judge you for trying to learn?
Are you concerned that you won’t succeed at learning how to play the piano?
You’ve made it to the right place
Here’s the thing:
Regardless of where you are in your musical journey, we understand that learning is vulnerable, and we are here for you.
You can do this
Everyone is an artist, YOU are an artist. It’s just about connecting with the right people to walk alongside you on your journey to discovering what you already have inside of you.
We have taught thousands of people how to play the piano and we know there are a lot of different ideas on how to approach learning the piano. Through all our years of experience, we have come to realize the best foundation to learning to play the piano is to let go of expectations that don’t serve us.
Expectations like:
-
learning has to be a fast process (or it SHOULD be)
-
You need to be perfect
-
You need to make it look easy
-
You should be amazing at piano instantly
We get it. We’ve BEEN there and we’ve learned that these expectations do nothing but cause internal pain. In order for piano playing to be meaningful and sustainable, we need to recognize that WE ARE ALL inherently artists. In our courses – we will bring you along with us and guide you to connect with your inner artist. You will learn to communicate with your inner artist through the piano.

"From the very beginning, Ashlee and Stephanie created a safe and supportive space for all of us to not only learn, but also for us to perform for each other and receive input from peers. I've personally played piano since I was a child, so I've got a few decades of experience, but I found myself learning an incredible amount each week from the presentations as well as from the other participants.
Stephanie and Ashlee are both amazing musicians who teach with such a patient and compassionate approach to learning the piano. Indubitably, they've encouraged countless individuals to become life-long musicians."

"I took this class on a whim because I love learning new things. Little did I know of the challenges that lay ahead for me in this 'beginner course'. Through the diligence, patience, and amazing teaching skills of these highly adept instructors, I learned so much. I can honestly say that I am smarter today, and yet extremely more humble than I was ten weeks ago! I have come away with a much better understanding of music, a renewed awe for musicians, some personal piano playing goals, and a desire to know more! I cannot think of better way to learn than through a group class online with these two. I highly recommend them, and look forward to learning more myself!”

“I was hesitant at first to participate, I found the whole experience to be both warm and welcoming. As someone who has never focused on music in my life, or taken any formal education in music since the 4th grade, I found the whole experience to be a positive one, and learned how to read music and rhythms- something I never thought I’d be able to do. I think it’s a great environment for anyone who has not traditionally studied music, but who wants a challenge and has a desire to broaden their life experience.”
